We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Officer in Biosciences, to join a dynamic and highly qualified team, part of the department of Life and Environmental Sciences, a department which has an internationally renowned reputation.
The successful applicant will have excellent practical laboratory and field skills, strong communication abilities as well as a keen interest in training both undergraduate and postgraduate students in areas related to biology.
Reporting to the Head of Department of Life and Environmental Sciences and working within the whole department, you will contribute to the preparation and the delivery of laboratory and fieldwork across a variety of fields including Biology, Forensics, Ecology, Environmental sciences, Biomedical and medical sciences. You will also support research students in collaboration with appropriate members of the academic staff. You will contribute to the sustained excellence of the student learning experience.
Candidates should have experience in the field of biology, either in an education, academia or industry context, and have experience working with in laboratory and fieldwork.
