About the role

At Bournemouth University, we’re committed to delivering an outstanding student experience by integrating education, research, and professional practice. Our team is made up of driven, dynamic professionals who bring diverse skills and experiences to the table.

We’re looking for a confident, proactive Schools Liaison Coordinator to take ownership of key outreach activities and strengthen our relationships with schools, colleges, and key influencers. Working within the UK Marketing & Student Recruitment Team, this role is instrumental in delivering our established schools’ liaison programme, which supports student recruitment and encourages progression to higher education—particularly for underrepresented groups.

This role is ideal for a graduate or someone looking to move into a career in higher education outreach. You’ll need to be a strong communicator, comfortable delivering engaging presentations and workshops to a variety of audiences, including primary and secondary school students, teachers, careers advisers, parents, and guardians. You’ll also be responsible for managing event logistics, handling stakeholder communications, and ensuring the smooth running of activities.

The right candidate will be highly organised, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple projects at once. You’ll have a natural ability to inspire young people and the resilience to navigate a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

You’ll need to be comfortable working flexibly, including occasional evening and weekend commitments, and be prepared for travel as part of the role.

Please note this role will not commence until August 2025.
