About the role

As a member of the CareersBU team you will contribute to the development of a learning community which is inclusive of students, graduates, academics and external stakeholders. You will work with academic colleagues to integrate employability into the curriculum and provide expert consultancy based on labour market information and graduate outcomes data.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is skilled in offering careers education, information, advice and guidance. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong and impactful relationships with students, university staff and external stakeholders. You will have an innovative and creative approach to careers guidance delivery along with highly developed presentation and group working skills which maximise student engagement.

You will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, and have or be working towards a recognised Diploma in Career Guidance, or equivalent recognised guidance qualification. Ideally you will have experience of providing advice and guidance within a higher education environment, although this is not essential.
