About the role

Are you passionate about empowering students to reach their full academic potential? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Study Skills Tutor to provide tailored one-to-one teaching and support to Apprenticeship students with specific learning differences (SpLDs), autistic spectrum conditions (ASCs) and medical disabilities.  In this vital role, you will help all learners to develop practical strategies to overcome barriers to learning, enhancing skills in memory, organisation, communication, and self-management. You will design individual learning programmes, deliver targeted support that promotes independence, and collaborate with academic, apprenticeship, and support colleagues to foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ educational and professional journeys while contributing to the continued excellence of our Additional Learning Support service.


THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY STAFF AND AGENCY STAFF CURRENTLY WORKING AT BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY ONLY.
