The opportunity

As a Planning Analyst, you will work in the Planning team, a part of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.  The Planning team was formed in order to provide a more coordinated planning and management information function.  This opportunity will allow you to bring new ideas together with supporting existing data, reporting on analytics which will essentially providing insightful intelligence across all teams within BU.

About you   

You will ideally come from a similar role ideally working within a Higher Education, or a large organisation operating across multiple disciplinary teams.  You will be an innovator, with a creative mindset combined with a wealth of experience building and manipulating data across different platforms and presenting to a diverse range of users.  You will have a customer orientated approach and work together and collaborate as part of the wider Planning team.  Above all else you will have the passion and enthusiasm for creating a great staff experience and positively supporting a culture of high performance, staff engagement, experience, and wellbeing.

About the department

Our Office of the Vice-Chancellor (OVC) serves as the hub of academic and administrative leadership, driving strategic planning and the execution of our vision. We work closely with the University Executive Team (UET) and the University Leadership Team (ULT) to drive a range of corporate activities across BU and ensure the smooth running of the university. The OVC also encompasses central functions working across BU, such as business continuity and policy and public affairs.
