About the role

Are you passionate about empowering students to reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Mentor to provide tailored one-to-one support to neurodivergent students.

In this vital role, you will help learners develop practical strategies to manage the emotional, social, and psychological challenges that may impact their studies. Support may include developing coping mechanisms, enhancing motivation and confidence, improving time and stress management, and building resilience and self-awareness. You will provide a safe and non-judgemental space for students to explore challenges and solutions, encouraging independence and self-advocacy.

You will work collaboratively with academic and support colleagues to promote inclusion and accessibility, ensuring that each student can engage fully with their studies.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ wellbeing and success while contributing to the continued excellence of our Additional Learning Support service.
