About the Role
Working closely with academic staff, students, and technical colleagues,
you will support practical teaching, learning, and research activities across
healthcare skills areas. Your responsibilities will include setting up and
clearing practical classes, maintaining, and repairing equipment, managing
consumables and inventories, and supporting the use of simulation and learning
technologies.
You will also contribute to health and safety compliance, first-line
equipment maintenance, and the ongoing development and efficient operation of
skills rooms across the faculty.
This post is offered at 0.6 FTE, with example working patterns
including mornings Monday to Friday or three full days per week. Some
flexibility will be required to meet operational needs.
About You
You will be an approachable and organised individual with excellent
communication skills and the ability to work effectively both as part of a team
and independently. You will have experience working in a manual handling
environment and a strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
Experience supporting skills or laboratory environments, particularly within
education or healthcare, would be advantageous.
You will be willing to engage with new technologies, adapt to changing
priorities, and work across campuses when required.

This position is available part-time for 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE).
