As a Lecturer in Sustainability, you will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of a key discipline within the field, such as environmental policy, climate change, or carbon management. Enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy, you will contribute to the delivery of several units, including programme management as required, across a range of degree programmes, particularly in sustainability and green economy, ecology and wildlife conservation, environmental sciences, and geography. You will be able to demonstrate appropriate pedagogical approaches for units delivered both face-to-face and online. You will also make a significant contribution to student employability and to professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations at regional, national, and international levels.
You will be qualified to Doctorate level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level and the capability to convert this knowledge into a doctorate in a maximum of 3-5 years from the date of appointment. You will be research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
