About the role

We have an exciting internal secondment opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Mentor in Student Services. This role provides a valuable opportunity to develop leadership and strategic experience while continuing to work directly with students with complex needs. The Senior Mental Health Mentor will lead and line manage the Mental Health Mentoring team, ensuring high-quality, compliant support for students in receipt of Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). The role works closely with the Head of Safeguarding and Wellbeing, Counselling and Wellbeing Team, wider Student Services and academic colleagues to ensure effective risk management, safeguarding and student support, and will play a key role in the development of the support pathway for students.

This position is available part-time for 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE).
