About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager (Partnerships) to join our Quality & Governance team on a fixed-term basis. You’ll play a central role in supporting the growth and governance of partnership provision, helping ensure our frameworks, processes and approvals are robust, efficient and aligned with BU’s strategic ambitions.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead a range of high-profile activities that underpin the successful development and oversight of partnerships at BU, including:

  • Leading the development and implementation of policies, regulations and procedures for partnership provision
  • Managing the approval process for new partnerships, including supporting panels, committees and governance requirements
  • Acting as a key contact for quality assurance and regulatory compliance, providing expert advice to colleagues and partners
  • Driving process improvement and project delivery across partnership activity
  • Working collaboratively across Academic Services and Faculties to ensure effective and consistent implementation
  • Supporting training and development on quality frameworks and partnership processes
  • Monitoring impact and ensuring continuous enhancement using data and insight

You’ll also maintain strong engagement with sector bodies such as the Office for Students, QAA and OIA, helping BU stay aligned with external expectations and best practice.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can confidently navigate complexity and bring clarity to it. You’ll bring:

  • Experience of developing and implementing quality policies and processes
  • A solid understanding of HE quality assurance and regulatory frameworks, ideally including partnerships
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
