BU have been successful in attracting project funding from the Office for Students to develop new degree apprenticeship provision to increase the number of students on our apprenticeship degrees and equality of opportunity for prospective apprentices. The aim of this exciting project is to advance our strategies and initiatives to increase choice for our students, improve graduate outcomes and widen opportunity.
To support this strategically important work, we are seeking an individual, to work as part of the Apprenticeships team and in collaboration with the Academic Quality and wider University community to provide support to ensure compliance of our apprenticeship provision with all internal and external statutory and regulatory requirements. The postholder will take a significant lead in the development of the apprenticeships through setting up systems for admissions/onboarding of the apprentices and enrolling them in the apprenticeships management system.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working with apprenticeship provision, in the HE and/or FE sector. They will have knowledge of the administrative and coordination requirements for successful apprenticeship delivery including funding and compliance rules.
This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for six months from 3rd February until 31st July 2025. Consideration may also be given to the position being offered as a secondment opportunity but this would need to be discussed with their line managers prior to application.
