Bournemouth University is seeking an experienced and motivated Counselling and Wellbeing Manager to lead our dedicated team of counsellors and wellbeing practitioners as part of a job-share. This role is central to ensuring BU students have access to high-quality counselling and wellbeing interventions that contribute to their success and overall university experience.
You will provide operational and strategic leadership of the service, working collaboratively across the university and with external partners to ensure coordinated and inclusive student support. The post holder will oversee service delivery, supervise staff, contribute to clinical governance processes, and respond directly to student need where required.
We are looking for a professional with strong leadership skills, experience in managing wellbeing or mental health services, and the ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure. A commitment to safeguarding, inclusivity, and student success is essential.
