About the role

The Faculty of Media, Science at Technology at Bournemouth University (BU) works in close partnership with two colleges to deliver engineering degree apprenticeships under the ST0027 - Product design and development engineer (degree) and ST0025 - Manufacturing engineer (degree) standards. 

The End Point Assessment Developer will be required to play an important role in the development of BU as an End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for these standards through scoping and developing a detailed plan for the delivery and internal quality assurance of the end-point assessment plans, developing question banks, developing training materials and developing guidance materials,  

To support this strategically important work, we are seeking a part-time individual for 6 months.  We are looking for someone with expertise with a broad knowledge in the engineering subject area and a growing reputation for excellence in learning and teachingYou’ll need to demonstrate a genuine interest in degree apprenticeships provision.  Confidence and enthusiasm are key, together with the ability to think strategically and influence at all levels whilst delivering service excellence.  

The postholder will work closely with the Faculty’s Associate Dean Education and Student Experience, staff within the School of Computing and Engineering and the Apprenticeship Team, along with other key stakeholders within the University and at partner colleges
