About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to join our Quality & Governance team on a fixed-term basis, supporting a major phase of curriculum transformation aligned to the BU Learning Model.
 
What you’ll be doing
 
You’ll take a leading role in delivering key projects that underpin the University’s evolving curriculum framework. This includes:
Leading policy development and implementation to support new curriculum models
Driving process improvement and project delivery across Academic Services
Providing expert advice on quality assurance, regulatory requirements, and frameworks
Working closely with stakeholders across BU to ensure consistent and effective implementation
Supporting the development of training, guidance, and resources for staff
Monitoring impact and using data to inform continuous improvement
You’ll also engage with external bodies (e.g. OfS, QAA) and help ensure BU stays aligned with sector expectations and best practice.

We’re interested in people who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery. You’ll bring:
Experience of developing and implementing policies and processes
Strong understanding of quality assurance in higher education
Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complexity into clarity
A collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement
